The pool area was a nice size and the kids enjoyed the ice skating rink and the playground. It was disappointing that the air conditioning in our room didn't work well and the cleanliness could have been better. Staff were friendly and helped with our needs.

I had a great time staying at this hotel as it was right at the beach access point, making it super convenient for long walks on the sandy shores and relaxing afternoons by the water; plus, there were numerous attractions close by like Viking Amusements and Thunder Lagoon Waterpark, just over 3 kilometers away, and fantastic dining options like Reef 118 Oceanfront Restaurant just a few steps away, so I was never short of fun activities to enjoy. The hotel had a nice indoor pool and exercise room too, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. However, it could use a bit of updating in some areas.

Lindsay, the bartender, deserves praise for her attentive service; her cocktail suggestions were spot-on. The ice skating rink and fun activities kept families entertained. the room experience was disappointing. The pool area, though family-friendly, lacked cleanliness. Both the indoor pool and ice machines left much to be desired. Management could improve communication and responsiveness. With some serious renovations and better maintenance, this property could excel. A solid effort, but it needs to step up to match its potential.

The bed was comfortable, providing a decent night's sleep. the room had a persistent musty odor, likely due to the carpeting. It was disappointing to discover cigarette smells and burn marks on the carpet. Temperature control worked fine, making the space feel cozy. Noise levels fluctuated, with loud music late into the night. Cleaning left much to be desired, as dust coated the air vents and surfaces. The broken door closer caused disruptive slamming sounds. The faulty electrical issue in lights raised concerns, yet staff promptly moved us to another room.

The location is beautiful, right by the beach, and the food at the outdoor bar was great, though drinks were pricey. Staff were responsive when I needed help with my balcony door, and the room was clean and well-stocked. the fire alarm disrupted our first night, and the hotel didn't acknowledge it at all. Our room faced the bar, making it hard to settle the kids with loud music and late-night conversations. I missed having daily housekeeping and a way to clean sandy floors, and the overflowing trash near the beach was a disappointing sight.

I indulged in soft-serve ice cream, hot pretzels, and hot chocolate. The Mermaids made a splash at the indoor pool. I felt pampered every time I had breakfast!

Just loved the housekeeping ignoring my requests for cleanup while the ceiling tile played hide and seek in the bathroom.

First off, the heating and air conditioning situation was a bit of a nightmare. It was April and starting to warm up outside, but they wouldn't turn on the AC. So, our room stayed at a toasty 80 degrees for three whole days! I had to resort to sleeping with the balcony door wide open just to get some relief. They kept promising to turn on the AC in three days, but it never happened. Such a shame because the facilities at the hotel were actually pretty great. The tea and coffee facilities were a nice touch, but the lack of control over the room temperature really put a damper on things. The sitting area was comfy enough, but the constant 80 degrees made it hard to truly relax. We did enjoy the terrace overlooking the beach, though. It was a nice spot to unwind despite the heat. As for the dining table on the patio, it was a great place to enjoy a meal, but the overall cleanliness of the room was a bit concerning. The carpets looked like they haven't been cleaned in ages, and the bathroom definitely needed some serious attention. The free toiletries were a nice gesture, but they couldn't make up for the moldy smell in the room. The flat-screen TV and AM/FM alarm clock were handy, but the carpeted floor felt a bit dingy. We did order room service one night, and the food was decent, but nothing to write home about. Oh, and they did offer us a welcome drink upon arrival, which was a nice touch. the Carousel has potential, but they really need to get their heating and AC situation sorted out. It's hard to enjoy all the amenities when you're sweating buckets in your room. Hopefully, they'll address these issues because the location and staff were actually quite lovely.

There were so many activities to enjoy, from the three pools to the playground, moon bounce, and even ice skating. The unique views of the beach and bay were perfect for our family vacation. We loved spending evenings on the outdoor patio with live music, creating unforgettable memories together.
